I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, born and raised in rural Illinois. I have been working in the mental health field for over 5 years. I have a passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I use an eclectic approach to provide trauma-information intervention that fits client's unique needs. I provide a warm, empathetic, yet real strengths based perspective approach to client's via tele-health from a secure location.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Our first session will mostly be introductory. My goal will be for each of us to get familiar with one another and discuss what your goals are for therapy at this time. My hope is for us to both get a good sense if we will be a good therapeutic fit. I will give you the opportunity to ask me any questions or voice any concerns you may have before starting therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strength as a provider is my empathy and dedication. I most certainly do not have everything all figured out and I will always do my best to grow and learn in areas that can help to better serve my clients.
