As a retired military veteran, I specialize in supporting the military with service and reintegration. I also focus on young adults and adolescents through challenging life transitions and older adults toward reaching their fullest potential.

Greetings! I am a 2020 graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio with a Masters in Social Sciences Administration. I have my independent license through the Counselor Social Worker Marriage and Family Therapist Board (CSWMFT) in Ohio. I have experience in community mental health where I served as an intake worker diagnosing and treating individuals with many types of mental health diagnosis's. I am trained as a Guardian Ad Litem, Forensic Custody Evaluator, and also do contract work for level II PASRR review where I travel to psychiatric hospitals and psychiatric units to assess patients. I have also worked in private practice as a therapist over the past few years.

Graduating in 2012, I have met with many hundreds of individuals, couples and families using a myriad of different methodologies. What I have learned is that the best way to help a client is to let go of anything you ever learned and connect with the person individual in front of you, not as a client but as a person. In addition, I take a highly biased and slanted bent towards your strengths and qualities with an unhidden agenda of manifesting your individual core beauty. Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio, and I have 20 years experience in providing therapy. I can provide sessions at my office for in-person sessions, as well as in video sessions. I work with individuals ages 18 and up, as well as couples. Together with my clients, I will help achieve the best version of themselves, working to resolve life issues and challenges.

I have been practicing as a clinical social worker for over thirty years and I have never gotten bored or tired or even considered doing anything else. I am originally from New York State and got my bachelor's degree in English literature at NYU. I took some time off to travel and then settled in Houston, Texas and got my master's degree from the University of Houston. I had extensive psychoanalysis to heal my own wounds prior to becoming a therapist and, after being licensed, I became a therapist, then clinical director, of a psychiatric day treatment center. After about seven years I opened my own private practice office where I saw clients in the evening and, during the daytime, I saw clients who were referred to me for treatment in several independent living and nursing facilities, and at a residential treatment center for adults with schizophrenia and other major mental illness. Since coming to Ohio five years ago I have been in private practice and signed up with Grow Therapy in August of 2023.
