Hi there! I'm so glad that you have taken the step to begin your journey to becoming the best version of yourself... A little about me, I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kean University in Union, NJ. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington. I have experience working with clients in a variety of settings and diverse backgrounds. I have worked within hospitals, residential treatment facilities, community mental health centers, non-profit organizations, schools, major health insurance companies, and private practice. The past few years have been difficult for so many of us... It seems like any issues we had before the pandemic were put on hold and we were then faced with a brand new set of overwhelming issues to cope with! Now that it seems we are beginning to return to some sense of normalcy, there's finally time to focus on personal growth and healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session together, my main focus is understanding what's leading you to seek counseling, I promise it's not an interrogation! This is your time to share what's been occurring in our life, why you feel it's an issue for you, and how you believe I can be of the best assistance to you.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I offer virtual/telehealth counseling sessions only at this time. My counseling theoretic orientations include CBT, Solution Focused, Existential, and Narrative therapy. I believe that everyone experiences life differently and tailor my treatments accordingly.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my biggest strength as a therapist is my authenticity and ability to be relatable. I don't consider myself to be above anyone and I am human before I am a therapist! We have all had unique journies in life and my favorite questions are, "What", "How", and "Why"? Why did we experience the things we have and what was their significance in our lives? What have we learned from them and how can we use our experiences to continue to grow? One of my favorite quotes is: "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." – Mark Twain
