Do you feel overworked in your job or overwhelmed by work/school responsibilities? Do you feel lost in your relationships or stuck in a rut? If you are ready to make changes in your life circumstances or mental health, but don’t know how, I am here to help. I am passionate about guiding overwhelmed and overworked clients to a place of self-care and self-compassion. I give clients tools to take charge of their lives and internal experiences. I help them identify strengths that can empower them to make needed changes, and I give clients communication strategies to set healthy boundaries.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During intake sessions, I introduce myself to establish rapport and create a comfortable environment for the client. I then provide them with an opportunity to share their concerns and gather relevant information necessary for their care. Throughout the process, I ensure to proceed at the client's pace, respecting their readiness and comfort level in disclosing personal information.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are my active listening skills, empathy, direct inquiry, dedication and excitement for your ongoing growth whether in or out of session.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT as it focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. Its purpose is to help individuals develop more adaptive coping strategies and change unhelpful beliefs that contribute to emotional distress. By teaching clients to recognize and reframe their thoughts, CBT empowers them to manage their emotions and improve their mental well-being.

Strength-Based

I use Strength-based therapy as it emphasizes identifying and building upon existing strengths, resources, and capabilities rather than focusing solely on problems or deficits. I like to use it in collaboration with clients to explore their strengths, talents, and positive qualities to promote self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment. By highlighting and utilizing these strengths, clients are encouraged to develop solutions and achieve their therapeutic goals more effectively.
