Hi, I'm Venus, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed in the state of Minnesota. I have over 12 years of experience providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and young adults. I provide a safe space to talk openly about present issues, relational concerns with friends, family, spouse and partners, and can help you identify personal goals to improve your social emotional health and wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During your first therapy session, you can expect to discuss an issue or problem you'd like to address in counseling. I will ask clinical questions, cover medical, mental health history, developmental history, and social/relational history to gain a better sense of what your life experiences.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having had 12 years of experience working with parents/caregivers, families, and adults in educational and clinical settings, I am well versed in providing strategies to support effective communication. Together we can effectively identify root causes of problems and develop a treatment plan to help resolve them.
