I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor LPCC based in KY. I received my master's at Lindsey Wilson College of Professional Counseling. I have been in practice for 6 years. Life can be hard at times. We have challenges and experiences that seem impossible to deal with or get through. I want to help you navigate and make it through these difficult times. It is truly rewarding to see my clients grow and learn to love themselves. I am very passionate about what I do and one of my best qualities as a therapist is providing encouragement and listening because having a strong therapeutic relationship is vital for healing to even begin.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Initially, the first session is gathering some basic information. My main priority is building your trust. I realize I am a stranger, and you may not want to share much at your first appointment. I want you to feel safe. If you decide to make a follow-up appointment, we will discuss in more depth what's going on and what you want from therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is encouraging and acknowledging your strengths. Most of us do not come to therapy with confidence and self-love. I have had many challenges, losses, and struggles in my life and I feel that this is also one of my greatest strengths because I made it through. I want to help you get through your difficult times.
