Hey there, I am a Texas-based licensed professional counselor & supervisor. I have dedicated years to education and training to build exceptional skills to help others. I have specialty training in CBT, DBT, trauma, anxiety, and life coaching to enhance my professional growth. I worked for over 18 years in community mental health and leadership with nonprofit organizations before starting my private practice in 2020. My goal as a therapist is to provide empathy, and understanding and challenge you to open your perspectives. I believe the heart of therapy is the connection between the patient and the therapist. No number of likes, emojis, hashtags, or algorithms, can compare with an authentic human connection. I am invested in helping clients change their hearts and minds to reach their goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I am here to listen, understand, and support you. Together, we can create positive change. Reach out, and let's take the first step toward your healing and growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With expertise in women's issues, trauma, anxiety, and couples issues, I provide a range of therapeutic options. Whether you're interested in individual or couples counseling, I offer both conveniently from the comfort of your own home. My approach draws from diverse modalities, specializing in women's issues, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, codependency, grief, couples' dynamics, or life transition counseling. I integrate various modalities, guided by warmth, empathy, authenticity, and knowledge to empower your healing and growth. Your journey is significant.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Training in CBT helps us to integrate tools in your therapy session that will address thinking patterns and behavior. Using CBT will help learn to calm your mind and face your fears.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT tools and skills are helpful for those of us who experience emotions intensely. Using this type of therapy allows us to build skills to reduce symptoms and regulate emotions.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use person-centered therapy to allow you to take the reigns in your treatment journey. This approach helps us to ensure we build a genuine connection as we explore the areas of your life where you are ready to change and grow.
