My name is Sarahi and when it comes to being a therapist I focus on building a relationship with clients. I also provide space for whatever it is you're bringing into session. I want my clients to feel heard, listen, and valued. I take a very direct and empathic approach, I believe that clients are experts of their own lives. I want clients to feel empowered and feel like they can manage what they are going through. and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I graduated with my master's in counseling with a multicultural emphasis at the University of Colorado Denver. I have been practicing for 3 years. My experience ranges from working in crisis centers, schools, and nonprofits.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect our first session to be informal. I focused on building a relationship getting to know you as well as sharing pieces of myself so that you feel comfortable talking to me. Depending what clients like I also like to start with an art activity that helps me understand who you are. We also discuss what are some things you want to work on.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Even though I have only worked professionally 3 years as a therapist I have 5+ years experience in the mental health field. As well as my own journey in therapy that helps make me a better therapist. I like to incorporate culture when it comes to therapy because I believe that has a lot of affect in our lives and how we view the world.
