Do you ever feel like no one listens to what you have to say or that no one understands you; especially your parents? Not to worry, that’s where I come in. I enjoy working with youth in helping them understand their emotions or how to get along with their parents, teachers and/or friends. Sometimes it can be difficult to express our emotions, talk to people or just navigate this hectic young life. I've been working with young people and helping them find their way for 12 years. It may take a few sessions; however, we will get there together. Let’s work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I create a safe space where we can talk and use a variety of techniques to help with whatever might be going on such as sadness, stress, anxiety, depression and many other “issues”. As someone who is always on your side, I can help guide you in your journey without judgment through the use of worksheets, videos and games!

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I always meet you where you are in your journey. My approach to helping you is through the use of evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, CBT and Person-Centered therapy. I also ask your input every step of the way such as your preference in learning (videos, games, worksheets, etc.)

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My job is to empower you to use positive skills that can assist in decreasing any negative behaviors. This can be helpful with sadness, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and many other difficulties that young people face in this hectic world.
