In today's world lots of people struggle with relationship issues. Most people long to have someone to talk to about what's happening in their lives. We were created for connection with others, whether it come from a teacher, friend, coworker, spouse, or family member. My goal in therapy is to provide a safe comfortable space for YOU to process your story and its challenges, and then work together to improve your mental health and relationships. I specialize in working with adults and children/ teens to address struggles at school or home. I work with couples on marital issues and everyday life challenges with balancing work and family. I use an eclectic variety of therapeutic models like Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and In-Person Play Therapy.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I use a person-centered approach. After hearing your struggles or present problem, I develop a treatment plan where I used a variety of therapies based on your personality and learning style. Most importantly, I provide a safe place to be heard and validated with what is happening in your life.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I love what I do. My passion is to help those who are hurting. I love connecting and providing a safe place for my clients. I would find it a privilege to walk with YOU through the hard stuff like relational issues, spiritual issues, home life/marriage, depression/anxiety, trauma, and grief. As a former teacher, I provide education about mental health to support your healing journey.
