Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I have received my Masters degree from University of Southern California (USC). I support women who want to build their self-esteem, heal from inner child wounds, and past traumas. I help my client's break free from the limitations imposed on them by their own past or the pain of their early experiences.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with introducing ourselves, discussing what brings you into therapy and what challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider is building a strong therapeutic relationship that will support you in your journey through healing. I know first hand how difficult and scary this process might be for you and I am ready to meet you where you are. I have experience working with client's who've dealt with child hood traumas and specific traumas such as sexual abuse, and emotional abuse. I am able to best support client's not hide away from difficult emotions and instead understand and accept them. I am great at supporting you with finding the tools that can help manage your difficult symptoms while we dig deeper into processing and healing your wounds.

Gestalt

As a therapist, I integrate Gestalt therapy principles and techniques into my practice to help clients increase self-awareness, personal responsibility, and emotional growth. By emphasizing the importance of the present moment and encouraging clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment, I help them gain insight into their patterns and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Using techniques such as role-playing, dream work, and empty-chair exercises, I guide clients in exploring unresolved issues, improving their communication skills, and fostering personal empowerment. Through the collaborative therapeutic relationship and the application of Gestalt therapy methods, I support clients in their journey toward self-discovery, acceptance, and positive change.

I draw on humanistic therapy principles to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their unique experiences, values, and potential for personal growth. Through the process of exploring emotional patterns, vulnerabilities, and attachment styles, I assist clients in understanding the root causes of their relationship issues and developing healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Using EFT techniques I guide clients in gaining new emotional experiences, I help clients foster secure attachments, deepen intimacy, and build stronger, more satisfying relationships based on trust, empathy, and emotional responsiveness.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help individuals develop skills to manage their emotions, improve relationships, and cope with distressing situations. By combining cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices, I assist clients in building emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills. Through individual therapy sessions, group skills training, and coaching, I help clients identify and change harmful behavior patterns, increase self-awareness, and enhance their ability to navigate challenging situations effectively. Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help individuals explore and understand their inner dynamics, emotions, and beliefs. By recognizing the mind as a system composed of different parts, each with its own unique characteristics and roles, I guide clients in identifying and connecting with these internal parts in a compassionate and non-judgmental way.
