New to Grow
I am a licensed counselor (LMHC) serving clients across Massachusetts and Florida who are ready to build the resiliency needed to navigate burnout and overthinking. I provide a dedicated virtual space for high achievers and professionals to rediscover their internal strengths and find clarity in the midst of life's heavy transitions. My counseling style is deeply person-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to follow your lead while offering a mix of empathy, warmth, and humor. I'm also proud to serve the Latinx community, offering therapy in both English and Spanish to ensure you feel truly heard and understood. I understand that everyone's pace is different. If you thrive on active treatment and want homework like journaling or activity logs, I will provide that structure. However, if you feel too overwhelmed for extra tasks, we will use our sessions to find calm without adding more to your to-do list. I will never pressure you. You are in charge of this journey, and I am here to support your goals-as much or as little as you need. I value open and honest feedback and am always here to listen. You don't have to figure it all out alone.
Taking the first step into counseling can feel overwhelming, but simply showing up is your first win. I like to begin our initial session by acknowledging that: you've already checked off the hardest part of the process. - Our first time together is about connection and clarity. It's a low-pressure space for us to get to know each other, gather your history, and discuss what brought you here today. We will look at where you are now and where you want to be, identifying the goals that matter most to you. - I also invite you to bring any questions you have about the process. By the end of this session, my goal is for you to feel truly seen and to have a clear sense of how we will partner together to help you find your power again. - Every individual in unique, and there is no 'right' way to show up in therapy. As long as you come as you are and communicate openly, we can make outstanding progress. My approach is grounded in the belief that while you are the expert on your life, I am here to provide the specialized tools and evidence-based strategies to help you navigate it. I offer practical techniques you can use in your everyday life to quiet overthinking, shift towards more positive perspectives, and ultimately, build the resiliency to live your best life. - If this feels like the right fit for you, I invite you to take the next step by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation, or a full intake session. Whether you're ready to start or just have a few questions, please feel free to reach out via call, text, or email. I'm here to help whenever you're ready.
My greatest strength is my ability to build a genuine, collaborative partnership where you feel truly seen and heard. Research shows that the relationship between therapist and client is the strongest predictor of success, so I prioritize building a foundation of trust and mutual connection over a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. - I see you as the author of your own story. My role is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges with total transparency. Whether you are navigating a high-pressure career or a difficult life transition, you will be met with empathy and unconditional acceptance - never judgment. - I tailor my interventions to your specific needs, often integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness to help you break free from negative thought patterns and overthinking. My approach is flexible: we can work with high structure and 'tools,' or we can hold a more fluid space for reflection. This collaboration thrives on our shared commitment - your willingness to show up for yourself and my dedication to providing the guidance you need. My priority is always your progress and helping you navigate your world with confidence.
I specialize in working with high-achieving adults, teenagers, and college students who are navigating the heavy pressures of 'doing it all.' I am best positioned to help those struggling with burnout, academic or career stress, and overthinking - those who feel 'stuck' despite their hard work and success. - My practice offers a dedicated space for anyone facing high-pressure transitions - whether in the boardroom, the classroom, or within family dynamics. I am also proud to offer bilingual therapy (English/Spanish) for the Latinx community, providing a space where your culture and background are truly understood. Whether you are navigating a demanding career or the demands of student life, I'm here to help you move from overwhelmed to empowered.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my experience, CBT is one of the most effective ways to help you understand the 'manual' your brain is currently running on. I use this approach to help you identify the 'autopilot' thought patterns that fuel burnout, anxiety, and overthinking. The goal is to move away from thoughts that drain your energy and towards perspectives that are more balanced, accurate, and productive. To help you reach your goals, I often suggest using a thought log as a 'map' to pinpoint exactly when and where your stress is triggered. This clarity allows you to gently reframe those negative thoughts in real-time. By mastering these tools, you gain the power to change how you feel and act, breaking old cycles and navigating your life with a renewed sense of confidence.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
In my experience, mindfulness is a powerful tool for quieting the noise of a busy mind. I take a practical approach, helping you stay grounded in the present moment without judgment. Rather than just focusing on formal meditation, I encourage you to bring mindfulness into your everyday life - focusing on your physical sensations and surroundings on a sensory level to break the cycle of overthinking. By learning to leave the past in the past and the future in the future, you can center yourself in the 'here and now.' This approach allows you to acknowledge your thoughts and feelings as they arise without becoming overwhelmed by them. My goal is to help you build the skill of deliberate awareness, providing you with a sense of calm and clarity that you can carry with you long after our session ends.
Christian Counseling
Graduating from a Christian seminary allowed me to build a strong foundation in understanding the intersection of faith and mental health. For clients who wish to incorporate their spirituality into therapy, I offer a supportive, Christian-based approach. I integrate evidence-based tools like CBT and mindfulness with prayer or Scripture, always following your lead and comfort level. My approach is strictly client-led. I only incorporate faith-based conversation if you request it. My goal is to create a natural flow where your spiritual values and clinical progress work together, using your faith as a source of strength and resiliency.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Research shows that the relationship between a therapist and their client is the single most important factor in a successful outcome. This is the heartbeat of my practice. I lead every session with empathy, trust, and unconditional positive regard, creating a nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard and supported. My approach is rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Rather than acting as a rigid authority figure, I partner with you to help you tap into your own strengths and insights. This method is the foundation of everything I do, and I weave it into every other modality I use. By building a secure professional bond, we create the perfect environment for you to move from feeling stuck to feeling empowered.
