You might feel like you’re doing everything you’re supposed to—but still feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what’s next. Many of my clients are used to being the “strong one” for others, and have a hard time slowing down or talking about what they’re going through. In our work together, we’ll look at what’s beneath the surface and help you gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of direction. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in CBT, while also helping you understand deeper patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Clients often tell me they feel more like themselves again within the first few weeks of therapy.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a relaxed, comfortable way. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—many people come in feeling unsure of where to start, and that’s completely okay. I’ll guide the conversation with thoughtful questions so we can begin to understand what’s been weighing on you and what you’d like to change. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, any patterns you’ve been noticing, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. By the end of the session, most clients feel a sense of relief and a clearer direction for next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and more hopeful about moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to quickly build a genuine connection and help clients feel comfortable being open, even if that’s something they typically struggle with. I’m highly attuned to patterns—both in thinking and in relationships—and work with clients to understand what may be keeping them stuck. I combine a warm, non-judgmental approach with practical strategies, so sessions feel both supportive and productive. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m easy to talk to, while also helping them gain clarity and make meaningful changes in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are used to being the “strong one” for others, but may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward in their own lives. They are often thoughtful and self-aware, but find themselves overthinking, struggling in relationships, or repeating patterns they don’t fully understand. They are open to looking deeper at what’s contributing to these challenges and are motivated to make meaningful, lasting changes. Many are navigating anxiety, life transitions, or relationship dynamics, and are looking for both insight and practical tools to feel more confident and grounded.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll start to identify patterns in how you think—especially the ones that may be contributing to feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or hard on yourself. Rather than just talking about problems, CBT is an active and practical approach. I’ll help you learn how to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, shift your perspective, and develop healthier ways of responding to situations. At the same time, we’ll explore deeper patterns—especially in relationships—that may be influencing how you see yourself and others. My goal is for you to not only feel supported in session, but to leave with tools and insights you can apply in your daily life, so that over time you feel more confident, balanced, and in control.

Psychodynamic

I also incorporate a psychodynamic approach, which focuses on understanding how past experiences and relationships may be influencing your current thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Sometimes we find ourselves reacting in ways that don’t fully make sense or repeating similar situations, and this approach helps bring more awareness to those patterns. Together, we’ll explore these dynamics in a supportive and thoughtful way, so you can better understand yourself and begin to respond differently. This deeper insight often leads to more lasting change, rather than just short-term symptom relief.
