About me

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who primarily works with men navigating relationship challenges, communication difficulties, anger, and emotional regulation. I understand that reaching out for therapy isn’t always easy, especially for men who may not be used to talking openly about emotions. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, speak honestly, and work through difficult situations without feeling judged.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about getting a sense of who you are, what’s going on in your life, and what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your concerns, relationships, patterns, and what you would like to change. I’ll ask questions, but this isn’t an interrogation—you set the pace. By the end, we’ll have a better idea of what you want to work on and how I can help you get there.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a direct, down-to-earth approach to therapy. I’m comfortable having difficult conversations and will challenge you when I think it can help you move forward. I also bring humor, curiosity, and the ability to meet you where you are. I use CBT and practical strategies to help connect the dots between your thoughts, emotions, and actions. Most importantly, I bring authenticity. I’m not here to judge you or tell you who you should be—I’m here to help you understand yourself, take ownership of your choices, and build the skills to handle life and relationships differently.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with men and boys, ages 12 and older, who are navigating stress, anxiety, identity, relationships, confidence, anger, or major life transitions. I help clients better understand themselves, improve communication, build emotional resilience, and develop practical tools for everyday challenges. My approach is supportive, direct, and focused on creating lasting change in a space where clients feel understood and respected.

Kaitlyn Farmer put me at ease, so that I was comfortable sharing my concerns with her during our very first appointment. I felt my time with her was well spent.
