I am a relational trauma therapist who has experience working with people from all kinds of different backgrounds. I specialize in the nuances of Complex Relational Trauma, helping clients deconstruct the impact of childhood neglect, abuse, or psychological misattunement. Whether you are seeking a season of stabilizing support or years of deep, transformative exploration, I provide a calm, unshakable space to navigate your healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I treat first sessions like information-gathering sessions. Whatever you're willing to tell me about what it is you've been struggling with, I'm ready to take it all in and recommend some ideas on how we might move forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

There are some core things about me you should know. First, I won't be that kind of therapist that is often cancelling sessions on you or showing up late. I am a very punctual person (sometimes to a fault) when it comes to time, and it will be rare that I'm even a minute late, even if I am seeing clients back-to-back. Of course emergencies will happen, but I know how important it is to show up for my clients, so unless there is some kind of actual emergency on my end, I will be there for your scheduled slot. Second, though I will tell you things about myself if you specifically ask, I will never derail our session to talk about my own experiences or my personal life - I am very client-focused in that way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals who often feel weighed down by deep-seated shame, self-doubt, and a relentless sense of inadequacy. Those who notice patterns of people-pleasing and self-critical thinking styles will feel seen and heard by me. I work with a lot of people who have learned to internalize their traumatic experiences to mean something bad about themselves. These individuals experience an immense amount of guilt and shame, causing them to feel like a burden.

My treatment methods

Relational

I started my career working with individuals who had relational trauma. I've had intensive experience and trainings on trauma, shame, and the impacts of core negative beliefs about the self. In my practice, I work with my clients long term to address the core of their emotional struggles, not just find ways to establish daily functioning and coping.
