Hello! My name is Kelly Brock and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania and also in Iowa. Maybe you are just feeling stuck, and don't know why? Or maybe you know why, but don't quite understand what tools to use or how to use them to get yourself to that next level up in self-understanding and comfort? I believe finding one's peace in life is a journey of exploration… Sometimes our human side tends to make the exploration in life's journey a tad bit complicated. When we know more about ourselves (and others)... we are just able to navigate life better!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session my goal is for us to get to know each other and explore what is going on in your life currently and where you want it to be in your future? Then we explore how you want to get there and set a flexible plan to start working toward your own individual and unique goals!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am very passionate about learning everything I can to help support my clients in finding their best selves! I am open to new ideas and thought processes and I love exploring the same with my clients! If you feel that us working together could be a good fit for you, feel free to reach out to me at the contact information listed!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am most passionate and experienced in working with presenting concerns such as: Anxieties, Depression, Trauma/Complex PTSD, Addictions, Grief and Loss, Mental and Sexual Abuse, Chronic Homelessness, and even with Incarceration and Re-integration back into the community. I have also worked in Community Mobile Crisis Intervention and with many clients with Serious and persistent mental health diagnoses. To give you further insight into my background, I completed a Bachelor of Education (BEd), majoring in Family and Human Services, at the University of Oregon. I received my Master of Social Work (MSW), degree at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to a (MSW) from the University of Pittsburgh, I completed advanced courses within a variety of mental health specializations and interned within specialized behavioral and mental health field placements. These advancements allowed me to complete a Mental Health certification.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I believe that each and every human is their own unique and divine self. To me this means that each and every unique individual has their own unique goals within therapy and their own paths to reaching those goals. Therefore, I use a variety of treatment methods in my therapy sessions including (but not limited to), Psychodynamic, Strength-Based, Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

She’s very open minded and willing to let someone let them self’s go and relax and talk and feel great about themselves

Kelly is wonderful. She’s so down-to-earth and real, and I genuinely love that about her. It feels like a true no-judgment zone, and I was able to say some really raw thing, things I never thought I’d be able to say out loud, let alone to another human being.
