I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years' experience. My clinical experience includes mental health, substance use, trauma, crisis intervention, and family-focused care. I take a warm, compassionate, and individualized approach, helping clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.

A safe place to feel heard, heal, and take the steps towards the life you want.

I have extensive experience working with substance use and co-occurring disorders, trauma, Autism, life transitions, relationship and family concerns, and emotional or behavioral challenges. In addition to providing therapy, I have served in leadership roles as a Clinical Supervisor and Director of Clinical Services, reinforcing my commitment to quality care and collaboration. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can heal, grow, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

First session

Our first session will be a relaxed setting and conversation in which I get to know you, your goals, and how I can help you be the best version of yourself. We will identify steps to help you achieve goals that are important to you.

Strengths

I provide a calm, safe, person-centered approach which allows space for you to openly express your thoughts and feelings while also assisting you in identifying thoughts, behaviors, and belief systems that need to be adjusted.

Ideal clients

I am interested in working with clients who are self-motivated for treatment, willing to challenge themselves, while also being open to the support that is offered. Whether small or large goals, it is important that the client is involved in their treatment, with the understanding on my part that there may be ups and downs, where some days are easier than others.

Treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

By utilizing a Person-centered approach, my clients lead the way throughout their therapy while also empowering them throughout the process.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will utilize CBT in order to identify negative thought processes as well as unhealthy belief systems. We will then work to challenge those thoughts and behaviors.

Solution-Focused Brief Treatment

I am very solution focused in my approach, so we will work to identify what has not been helpful and what changes can be made to assist in overall success.
