I offer a collaborative approach to therapy that moves beyond labels and one-size-fits-all solutions. Together, we’ll work toward understanding what’s happening, what you want to change, and what can help you move forward. I work with individuals, including young adults and women navigating different stages of life such as college, career changes, and parenthood. My approach is goal-oriented and draws from systemic, solution-focused, and problem-solving therapies, always taking your unique experiences, strengths, and goals into account. Please note: I am not currently accepting new couples.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I'll prioritize getting to know you deeply by asking questions about your background, values, and the reasons for seeking therapy. Understanding your context helps me tailor our approach to your unique needs. We'll discuss the challenges you're facing and how you've been coping with them. By the end of the session, my aim is for you to feel heard, validated, and hopeful as we establish goals focused on addressing your priorities. Together, we'll embark on a journey toward positive change

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly. My commitment to understanding each client's unique experiences and tailoring therapy to their individual needs allows for effective goal-setting and progress. Additionally, my background in systemic therapy and utilization of solution-focused approaches enable me to guide clients towards practical solutions and positive outcomes. Overall, my dedication to empowering clients and fostering their growth and resilience are key strengths that drive my practice.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I particularly enjoy working with young adults and women who are navigating life transitions, relationships, identity development, and personal challenges. I value a personalized, collaborative, and goal-oriented approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. My understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds allows me to create a welcoming space where women from different cultures and walks of life feel understood, respected, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use a solution-focused approach because I want therapy to be goal-oriented and focused on creating change. Rather than focusing heavily on labels or diagnoses, we’ll look at what you’re experiencing, what you’re doing to solve the problem, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll explore how to interrupt those cycles and find new ways forward that align with your goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I also use TEAM-CBT because it gives us practical tools to understand what’s happening and make meaningful changes. It helps us identify the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be getting in the way, while giving us concrete strategies to work with them. I combine this with a brief, solution-focused approach so our work stays collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on creating change.
