Nickie Diggs
I am a dedicated and experienced therapist committed to helping individuals create meaningful and lasting change in their lives. I specialize in working with adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and relationship challenges. My approach integrates solution‑focused strategies with cognitive‑behavioral therapy (CBT), offering practical tools and supportive guidance. In our sessions, we’ll work together to identify the goals you want to achieve, develop clear strategies for reaching them, and break those strategies into manageable steps that support your long‑term success.
My approach is respectful, culturally responsive, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you gain clarity, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.
First session
In our first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to work on. I’ll ask a few questions to get to know your background and understand your goals, and you’re welcome to share at whatever pace feels comfortable. We’ll also review how therapy works and what you can expect moving forward. Most importantly, this is a safe, confidential space where you can begin exploring your thoughts and experiences with support and without judgment.
Strengths
I offer a warm, supportive space while also providing structure and clear direction. I use a blend of solution‑focused strategies and CBT to give you practical tools you can use right away. I work collaboratively, helping you break challenges into manageable steps so therapy feels empowering rather than overwhelming. My approach is respectful, culturally responsive, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you gain clarity, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.
Ideal clients
Our time together is a confidential space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind—work stress, family dynamics, friendships, or the internal experiences that feel overwhelming or difficult to sort through alone. Individual counseling can be a powerful way to gain clarity, express yourself freely, and better understand your thoughts and emotions. I approach every client with respect, empathy, and compassion. I believe in tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs and strengths, and I am committed to supporting you as you move toward the life you want to live. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.
