Licensed to practice in Illinois and accepts 35 insurances. Specializes in Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions and 6 more.
Hi, I'm Amanda. I have over 15 years' experience as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University. I provide telehealth services to individuals over the age of 18 who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, stress, and work/life concerns. I love helping and empowering individuals develop the skills that increase life satisfaction and wellbeing.
Often the first session can be scary. I create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment that allows you to speak freely. We will review consents and the intake form you fill out; we will talk about what has brought you to therapy now and together we will set goals that you want to work on. My goal for your first session is that you leave feeling heard and excited about our next session.
Over my time as a clinician, I have learned the importance of listening and individualization. I want you to feel heard. I will ask questions to understand better. You are unique and your situation is not the same as anyone else.
I enjoy working with adults (18+) who are ready for a change. You might not know what the change is but you know you want something more out of life.
