Hi there! I'm Elizabeth and I am now taking new clients in North Carolina. We can work together to make the changes you want to make in your life. Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship or parenting issues? Do you need someone to walk beside you and assist you as you grow into a healthier version of yourself? You are not alone and I am here to help. I know it can be scary or uncomfortable to ask for help, but when we meet you will be met with understanding, acceptance and compassion. I provide a place where you can be yourself, where you can laugh, vent, curse and cry. I am client-focused and we will journey together at your pace! I use empathy and proven therapeutic techniques to help you reach your goals. I am looking forward to meeting you.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, my goal is to give you information about the counseling process and then answer any questions you may have. Then, we will discuss what is bringing you to counseling and complete an initial assessment. Then, we will finish with setting goals for your sessions.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I use a variety of treatment methods. I listen to you, I provide empathy and unconditional positive support. I use CBT, DBT and client-centered techniques. I will give you tools that you can use to combat your anxiety, ADHD, or mood disorder or whatever you may be experiencing. I use psychoeducation to help explain your diagnosis, parenting skills, relationships or general coping skills.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My biggest strength is that I care about you as a person. I am told that I am easy to talk with and that I am encouraging and supportive. I meet you where you are and we will work together to fulfill your needs.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am particularly interested in working those experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment issues. I enjoy working with young adults and those with more life experience as well.
