About me

Hi, I'm Leah. Is everything just too much? Are you anxious or irritable, depressed or hopeless? You can get better and you can get help! Whether you are experiencing a loss, going through a life transition or just needing a listening ear, therapy can be instrumental in working through life's challenges. Seeking therapy can be hard but it is a sign you are ready to improve your life and your mental health!  I'm passionate about walking through difficult times with my clients and empowering them to make lasting changes. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 10 years of experience, I work collaboratively with my clients to help them improve their lives. I utilize a strengths-based approach and incorporate many evidence-based techniques into my work. My formative years as a therapist, include working with at-risk children and adolescents in several Chicago Public Schools. I also have experience in medical and dental social work.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be very casual and warm. It's all about getting to know each other and seeing if we'll be a good fit! I'll have a lot of questions for you and encourage you to ask questions as well.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe in building a solid relationship with my clients to meet them where they are at in life. I utilize humor, empathy and compassion in session.
