About me

I am a Licensed Profession Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Idaho. Additionally, I am a Board Credited Art Therapist. I received my Masters degrees at Marywood University in PA. I like to help people who are experiencing challenges in life transitions, anxiety, depression and self-worth. My goal is to support them in gaining the skills to become their authentic selfs. I believe in meeting clients where they are at within their healing process, while focusing on personal strengths and guiding them to their fullest autonomy through the creative process and traditional verbal therapy. I love hiking, making art and being with my pets!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We will participate in introductions then dive into what is bringing you to therapy. We will discuss a treatment plan together that I will tailor to your concerns because I believe you should be a part of the goals you want to achieve!

My goal as a therapist is to help people explore their personal voice while providing an empathic environment for them to be successful within their healing process. My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Since I have become a therapist it is important to meet clients where they are at to provide unconditional and empathic support. I use this approach through active listening and genuineness to provide validation of experiences and emotions.

Trauma Informed Care

I am certified in trauma treatment and have worked with individuals with 4 years with emotional, sexually and verbal abuse from ages 3 to 90 years old. Through this approach I help guide individuals in exploring how trauma impacts them physically, emotionally and cognitively, with provided empathic support along the way.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT with child, adolescents and adults to identify negative patterns that are impacting their daily living. Using it to develop new skills and gain a better understanding of how the cycle of our thoughts impact our behaviors, emotions and our bodily responses.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT helps individuals explore and gain skills in distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships.

I feel very safe and heard with Jacqueline. I don't feel like she gives me too much to handle. She is very gentle with her words, but knows how to push you enough. She helps you set realistic goals. I can laugh and joke with her, but also trust her to tell her anything.

After several therapists, I'm so happy that I tried Jacqueline. We've been working together for a few months, and she has helped me ground myself and stay connected enough to solve my issues. She calls me out on my *stuff* in a caring, compassionate way.
