I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has experience working with children, teenagers, adults and families. I have experience working with individuals who have suffered from trauma, resulting in anxiety disorders and depression. I utilize Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a trauma-informed approach. I believe it is important to validate, empathize and show care for your clients while also providing them a human experience that can allow them to grow and reach their goals. Using humor and being down to earth is something I believe can help clients to feel more comfortable to share difficult experiences.

In the first session, I will allow you to discuss your goals for therapy, your past experience in therapy and begin the process of creating a treatment plan to stay on track of your goals and how I can help you be successful.

My approach is to be person-centered, and bring a genuine personality to the therapeutic relationship. It is my belief that it is important for your clients to experience a genuine, honest and trustworthy therapeutic relationship to be successful. I feel confident in my ability to help my clients feel understood, validated, and challenged when necessary to create a safe space for growth.
