First session
The first session will be a time to get to know one another, discuss your needs and create a plan to reach the goals you set for yourself.

My focus is to support individuals in reaching their goals and creating a positive, safe space that promotes growth and healing.
Ideal clients
I love working with ages up to 60 years old with most of my experience with adolescents and young adults. Therapy works best if client's are willing, engaged and focused. Children and adolescents take a little bit longer to build rapport but all rapport building is important. Important to remember that therapy is not supposed to be a long term activity. It works best when the goals are addressed and time free from therapy follows to practice new skills and apply to daily life.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT focuses on how one’s thinking can affect mood. Focus is to change the thinking pattern to be more positive and the mood will elevate as well.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Becoming more aware and accepting of emotions experienced enables the ability to express them in a healthier manner.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Learning to be in and experience each moment paying attention to thought, feelings and sensations.
