About me

I worked as a school counselor for 17 years, and have been seeing clients of all ages via telehealth as an LMHC since 2023. I genuinely enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories, and helping them grow and reach their goals. I tailor each session to the unique needs of the client using a blend of CBT, solution focused, and humanistic therapies. I love being outdoors, yoga, IU sports, family/friends, sun, and books! I have a daughter who is a toddler. My family and I currently reside in Hawaii., and I see clients in Florida and Hawaii.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session, I will gather information about your history and what has brought you to therapy. This information is used to create a plan for improvement. It is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe YOU are the expert on YOU! My job is to identify the skills you already possess and build on them to increase your successes. I am a great listener. It is not my job to judge. I form connections with children and teens quickly.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

The bulk of my career has been working with children ages 5-18, though in the last few years I started working with adults in the telehealth setting and have enjoyed that as well. My goal is to empower my clients and build confidence in children and teenagers.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy can help us identify the thoughts or beliefs that are keeping us stuck in anxiety, depression, or anger. Once those thoughts are identified, we can work together to change them!
