Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduated with a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University. She has experience working with youth and adults in various treatment settings, including community mental health, juvenile justice, autism services, and child welfare. She specializes in childhood and adolescent mental health, family therapy, depression and anxiety, and stress related to significant life changes. I am passionate about supporting individuals, groups, and communities through healing, growth, and emotional wellness. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, with a focus on helping clients feel empowered, supported, and understood. Therapy is not about “fixing” a person. It is about helping clients reconnect with themselves, build self-awareness, strengthen emotional wellness, and create practical tools for everyday life. We honor each client’s story and work together to create a path toward healing, confidence, and stability.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is really about getting to know you, understanding what brought you in, and beginning to build trust. You do not have to share everything all at once. We can move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. That means I want to understand your story without judgment, support you in identifying what you need, and help you build tools that feel realistic for your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I use a positive and holistic approach to therapy. I feel that it is important to find balance in your life and it starts with improving self-esteem and good self-care. A person-centered approach is used, meaning you are in charge, we go at your speed and things should always be comfortable for you during therapy. My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, trust, and collaboration. We believe healing happens when clients feel safe, heard, and supported without judgment. My work is client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, meaning we meet each person where they are while helping them recognize their resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward meaningful growth. We support clients in exploring emotions, life challenges, relationships, identity, stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, and personal transitions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to manage the stressors they’re facing. I often support clients who are experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, life transitions, and difficulties regulating their emotions. Some may struggle with people-pleasing, burnout, low self-esteem, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others. My clients are typically self-aware or curious about their patterns, even if they don’t yet know how to change them. They may feel tired of coping the same way and want healthier tools for managing their thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
