Treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my experience observing and accepting your thoughts and feelings as they are, rather than fighting to control or avoid them helps most individuals in reframing their cognitive experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Understanding circular connections and patterns of thoughts, behaviors and emotions is key in saucerful application of behavioral modification. I find CBT highly effective for conditions like anxiety and depression.

Psychodynamic

I utilized person centered method to help my clients recognize their own unique set of past and present experiences to understand their own psychological make-up.

Positive Psychology

I incorporate strength base approach, gratitude journaling positive affirmation and mindfulness techniques to apply positive psychology.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Safe space, meeting where the client is, matching the pace of the client and active listening skills are some of the tools I utilize in Trauma focused CBT.

She is kind, knowledgeable, understanding, and funny. She is great to speak to. If you're looking for a therapist who won't treat you like just another patient, then you've found her!
