New to Grow
I am a licensed professional counselor with a doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision, offering a thoughtful, collaborative space for growth and healing. I work with adults, and seniors, integrating a holistic approach that honors the mind, body, and spiritual dimensions. My role is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, build insight, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Warm, structured conversation focused on your story, goals, and needs.
Approachable, holistic, collaborative care integrating insight, action, and meaningful growth.
I’m best positioned to work with clients who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or life transitions, yet remain motivated for change. They’re often insightful but need help translating awareness into action. My best-fit clients value structure, depth, and practical tools, and are open to exploring both present challenges and deeper patterns to build clarity, resilience, and meaningful direction in their lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
In my work as a therapist, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a practical, compassionate framework to help clients relate differently to their thoughts and emotions rather than trying to eliminate them. I guide clients in building psychological flexibility by learning skills like acceptance, cognitive defusion, present-moment awareness, and values-based action. Instead of getting stuck in cycles of avoidance or overthinking, clients begin to notice their internal experiences without being controlled by them, while taking meaningful steps toward the life they want to live. In my practice, ACT is not just a set of techniques, but a way of helping people reconnect with what matters most and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.
EMDR
In my work, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. EMDR allows the brain to reprocess memories that may feel “stuck,” reducing their emotional intensity and the negative beliefs attached to them. Through guided bilateral stimulation, clients are able to access these memories in a safe, contained way, while the brain naturally moves toward resolution and integration. In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients shift from feeling overwhelmed or defined by past experiences to feeling more grounded, empowered, and able to respond to the present with greater clarity and stability.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In my work, I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy as a practical, goal-oriented approach that helps clients move toward meaningful change without getting stuck in the details of the problem. I focus on identifying strengths, past successes, and existing resources, while helping clients clarify what they want their future to look like. Through targeted questions and small, achievable steps, clients begin to notice what is already working and build on it. In my practice, SFBT helps create momentum, increases confidence, and supports clients in making real, sustainable progress in a way that feels both efficient and empowering.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
In my work, I draw from Internal Family Systems to help clients understand and relate to the different “parts” within them that carry emotions, beliefs, and protective roles. Rather than seeing these parts as problems, I guide clients to approach them with curiosity and compassion, recognizing that each part is trying to help in its own way. Through this process, clients begin to access their core Self, a grounded, calm, and wise inner presence, and from there, they can heal wounded parts and reduce internal conflict. In my practice, IFS helps clients move from feeling fragmented or stuck to experiencing greater clarity, integration, and a deeper sense of inner balance.
