I am passionate about therapy and love working with individuals on their personal journeys for healing and growth. I approach each client individually with compassion, empathy, and support. I enjoy current research in the areas of women's health, wellness across the lifespan, and aging populations. I believe that each client brings their own experiences, culture, and background. I believe that the clients are the experts on their own lives. I function more as a guide as my clients learn more about themselves and meet their personal goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have over 25 years of experience as a counselor in private practice, as a professor, and in the school system. I am passionate about research and current methodologies. I have numerous counseling books and journal articles, and continue to contribute to the field.
