About me

Healing begins when you have a space where you don't have to carry everything alone. I am passionate about helping individuals who are struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions rediscover hope and regain a sense of control and purpose for their life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored specifically to meet your unique needs. Together, we'll identify the root causes of challenges you're facing, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful lasting change. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to become the version of yourself you've always envisioned. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 7 years of experience and extensive experience working with trauma survivors, relationship violence, veterans, and individuals navigating complex life challenges, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to every session. I tailor therapy to each individual by using evidenced-based therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) , and strength-based interventions to best support your goals. Let's start your journey today!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about building connection, trust, and understanding. My expectation is not for you to open up completely on the first meeting, however I would like to build on a foundation that allows up to maximize the experience and our work together. I'll invite you to share what's been challenging for you lately and what you are hoping to get out of our time together. We will explore your background, any supports you may already have, and the goals that you want to work toward. We will identify problem areas and potential treatment options. You can expect a light-hearted, calm, and respectful environment where your voice leads the process. Together, we will move at a pace that honors your comfort as we begin to enter a direction toward change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a calm, steady presence into every session. I'm someone who can sit quietly hold space, and listen. I also take pride in holding my clients accountable so real progress is made. I'm transparent about my observations, the work we're doing, and how we're moving towards your goals. I will sit in discomfort with you. I don't sugar-coat, and I don't avoid hard conversations. My approach is grounded, professional , honest, and supportive. I want to help clients feel both safe and challenged in ways that lead to meaningful change in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals with a history of trauma, including those navigating long-term impact of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. I also support individuals who have lived through domestic violence, relationship instability, or patterns that stem from early attachment or abandonment wounds. I'm well-positioned to work with veterans, especially those managing trauma, identify shifts, or reintegration challenges. I also support young adults who feel stuck, unmotivated or disconnected from their goals and sense of purpose. My ideal clients are people who want space that is steady, honest, and supportive.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I have been trained and certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for over 5 years. CPT helps people understand how trauma has shaped their beliefs about themselves, others, and the world. We look at the thoughts that keep you stuck “I should’ve done more" or "I can never trust anyone again" and gently challenge them so they become more balanced and less painful. It’s structured, collaborative, and focused on helping you make sense of what happened so you can move forward.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT teaches you how to stop fighting your feelings and instead make room for them without being controlled by them. You learn skills like mindfulness, grounding, and identifying your values that matter most to you. The goal is to help you take meaningful action in your life even when difficult emotions show up.

Motivational Interviewing

MI helps you explore your motivation, clarify what you want, and understand what’s getting in the way. Instead of pushing you, I ask thoughtful questions that help you find your own reasons for change. It’s supportive, non judgmental, and great for people who feel stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed.

Strength-Based

Strengths based work focuses on what’s right with you using your own your resilience, skills, values, and lived experience. We identify the strengths you already have and use them as tools for healing and growth. It’s empowering, affirming, and especially helpful for clients who’ve been through trauma or feel worn down by life
