About me

I am passionate about helping individuals overcome life's challenges and move toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of purpose. For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate difficult seasons and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I work with adults ages 19 and older and hold specialized certification in alcohol and drug counseling. In addition to individual counseling, I enjoy working with couples and families to strengthen communication, improve relationships, and navigate life's challenges together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin exploring what has brought you to counseling. We'll talk about what's been going on in your life, what you hope to gain from therapy, and any questions or concerns you may have. I'll also explain what the counseling process looks like so you know what to expect and feel comfortable moving forward. There is no pressure to share everything during our first meeting—we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll begin building a strong foundation for meaningful and lasting growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is my commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. I believe meaningful growth occurs when clients feel empowered to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while recognizing their own strengths and capacity for change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults ages 19 and older and hold specialized certification in alcohol and drug counseling. In addition to individual counseling, I enjoy working with couples and families to strengthen communication, improve relationships, and navigate life's challenges together. My hope is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, encouraged, and empowered to build a healthier, more confident future.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my practice, I find that person-centered therapy provides a strong foundation for building meaningful therapeutic relationships. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and accepted. Rather than directing the session, I allow clients to guide the conversation at a pace that feels comfortable for them while offering empathy, encouragement, and unconditional positive regard. Through this collaborative approach, I have seen clients develop greater self-awareness, build confidence in their decision-making, and discover their own strengths and solutions.
