I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph. I bring a caring, relaxed, and empathetic presence to my work, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based perspective to support my clients. I work collaboratively with individuals to develop meaningful coping strategies that foster greater connection, engagement, and overall well-being. My goal is to help each person feel grounded, empowered, and aligned with their best self.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my main goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming space where you feel safe to share at your own pace. We’ll start by getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “right words” your story can unfold naturally.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I combine a warm, empathetic approach with structured, evidence-based CBT to help clients feel understood while building practical skills for meaningful, lasting change. Most importantly, I value connection and collaboration. You aren’t just receiving treatment you are an active partner in the process, and that balance of professionalism, empathy, and clarity is what truly sets me apart.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported and understood. I believe that each person brings unique strengths, experiences, and insights, and I strive to honor those as we work together toward meaningful change. I view therapy as a partnership. You are the expert in your own life, and my role is to guide, encourage, and help you navigate challenges with clarity and confidence. Whether we are working through anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, or daily life struggles, I aim to empower you to build coping strategies that feel authentic, sustainable, and aligned with your goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT focuses on identifying unhelpful or inaccurate thoughts, examining how they affect your feelings and actions, and learning ways to challenge and replace them with more balanced, realistic thoughts.

Psychoeducation

I use Psychoeducation to teach coping skills and help clients to understand their illness through educational materials we can use together, discussions we have in session , and skill-building exercises to improve your overall wellbeing.
