As a marriage and family therapist, I help couples move from feeling disconnected and stuck in the same arguments back to feeling like partners again. I have a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, with over nine years of experience working with couples from a variety of backgrounds, orientations, and cultures. I believe life is about relationships first and everything else is just details. For more on how I work, visit eileenkristina.com.

First session

We'll get to know each other, get clear on what's actually going on, and leave with a sense of where we're headed together.

Strengths

I kept seeing the same thing in the couples around me... two people who loved each other but had stopped knowing how to reach each other. I wanted to be the person who helps couples find their way back before the distance becomes permanent.

Ideal clients

My ideal clients are couples who feel like roommates instead of partners, who are tired of having the same argument on repeat, and who are ready to actually change the pattern instead of managing it. Individually, I also work with people trying to understand what they want and where they stand in their relationship, getting clarity on their individual patterns.

Treatment methods

Couples Counseling

Ihelp couples see the pattern underneath the conflict and reconnect on a deeper level, so trust and closeness feel possible again. Details at eileenkristina.com.

Had my first session with Eileen and she was very easy to talk to, she listened attentively and offered support/feedback. I'm looking forward to continuing to meet.

This was our third couples therapist and the first that we made tangible progress with. Eileen makes sure we both have a safe space to express ourselves and encourages us to find ways to compromise in and out of our sessions. She is able to remain impartial and not take sides but focuses on how we feel and what we think.

Eileen was very warm and made me feel very comfortable to open up. It’s allowed me to be both comfortable and excited to begin this journey.
