I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field, working with adults. My style is supportive, direct, and collaborative. Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, and we’ll move through the process together. I believe everyone’s experiences and needs are unique, so therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. We’ll work together to understand your story, identify what’s working and what isn’t, and find a path forward that feels supportive and realistic. My role is to help you build tools that align with your values and goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I understand that meeting with someone new can feel uncomfortable, so we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to provide a space that is supportive, judgment-free, and without pressure.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I challenge them in ways that matter. I am curious, attentive, and approachable in sessions, and I focus on helping you walk away with something real to try. For me, therapy is about clarity, connection, and actually moving forward in life, not just talking about it.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You function well by most measures. Career, responsibilities, relationships, all managed. But underneath that, you're running on empty and you're not sure how long you can keep it up. Maybe you're carrying grief quietly, burning out from caregiving for someone you love, or navigating a life transition that looks fine on paper but feels disorienting in practice. Maybe you've tried therapy before and found it too slow, too soft, or too focused on how you feel rather than what to actually do about it. If any of that sounds familiar, you're exactly who I do my best work with.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which focuses on building practical skills to manage intense emotions, tolerate stress, and communicate more effectively in relationships. This approach balances acceptance with change, helping you validate your experience while shifting patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

My background includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an approach that helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings while focusing on what truly matters to you. The work centers on building flexibility and taking meaningful steps toward the life you want.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which explores how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop more balanced responses to improve mood and daily functioning.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I draw from Internal Family Systems, a model that helps you understand the different “parts” within you, such as the inner critic or anxious part. The goal is to approach these parts with curiosity and compassion, creating greater internal balance and clarity.
