About me

I’m a licensed professional counselor who works with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, from identity challenges, anxiety, and depression to bipolar disorder, personality disorders, relationship issues, ADHD, and struggles with self-esteem or self-worth. I use a whole-body systems approach, combining CBT and a growth mindset to help identify cognitive distortions, recognize unhealthy patterns, navigate relationship challenges, and foster healing for both the inner self and the outer world. My style blends compassion and kindness with clear, direct guidance to help clients get unstuck and move toward growth and healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first sessions, the therapeutic relationship starts to take shape as we work together to explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. In the initial session, I’ll ask plenty of questions to better understand your history, goals, strengths, and anything else you feel is important to your story. This space is safe, welcoming, and free of judgment, where we’ll move at your pace to find the best ways to navigate and manage the challenges that led you here.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My life experiences have shown me that what we’ve been through, learned, or done doesn’t define or limit us. We all have our own story. I like to think of my skill—especially with kids—as a kind of superpower that allows me to be fully present in each session, noticing things others might miss. I’m an attentive listener, but I also pick up on the nonverbal cues that often reveal what someone may not want to share.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with people of all ages, addressing a wide range of symptoms and mental health concerns. I have experience supporting both individuals and couples. I understand that the reasons for seeking therapy can be complex, and solutions aren’t always straightforward. Not everyone is fully ready for change, but I welcome anyone who is willing to take the first step in the process.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT in my practice for the past 6 years as my main treatment modality to help with unhelpful thinking processes. This treatment method helps client examine and understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors work together. The knowledge gained can help those who are stuck or with unhealthy patterns.

Brainspotting

I am trained in Brainspotting and have used this modality for the past three years. This treatment method can be used for a wide range of issues and concerns.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is a therapy style that combines useful information with emotional support to help people better understand their condition, ease distress, and boost long-term outcomes. It gives individuals and families the tools to face mental health challenges with more clarity and confidence.
