New to Grow
Hello there! I believe everyone faces challenges and obstacles at some point in their lives, experience life transitions and/ or just struggle with day to day tasks. I am here to be of support, listen and help you navigate while providing tools you can use so the weight doesn’t feel unbearable and so you can be your best self. I have an integrative approach to therapy; combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy , Solution-Focused Therapy, Grief and Bereavement, and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor my therapeutic approach based on your needs. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor ( LMHC) in Florida , Licensed Professional Counselor( LPC) in Missouri and Georgia, National Certified Counselor (NCC), Master’s Addiction Counselor ( MAC), former Trauma-Informed Instructor and Qualified Supervisor (QS) for the states of Florida and Missouri. Therapy is a space that allows you to explore, grow, rebuild and heal. As a therapist, I help clients in multiple areas to include but not limited to; anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, life transitions, grief/ loss and stress management. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I aim to empower you and to enhance your quality of life holistically. I look forward to working with you.
In the first session, this is a time we get to learn one another. You are welcomed to ask me questions. I will ask a little about you and your background, and what you seek from therapy.
Therapy is all about you and what will best benefit you. To ensure therapy is beneficial, most importantly we build rapport. I actively listen to any concerns and/ or obstacles you are facing, provide support, transparency, and I strive to create a safe space.
I am best positioned to service those who seek change and self improvements with an understanding that change takes time but is steady if willing to put forth the effort. This can include those who struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, work-life balance, grief/ loss, stress, addiction or just simply needing to learn effective coping strategies. I am here to be a guide and help you navigate throughout your journey.
