My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy is a humanistic approach that focuses on providing a patient with a safe and supportive environment to process and explore their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. With support and guidance from a therapists, a patient will become empowered to make positive changes to enrich their quality of life. The therapist will example key principles to provide empathy, unconditional positive regard, listen actively, and provide client-centered care that is individualized to meet the specific needs of each patient.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured form of talk therapy that focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The goal isn't to force "positive thinking," but to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, evaluate whether they're accurate, and practice more balanced ways of responding.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps individuals accept difficult thoughts rather than avoid them. A main focus of this treatment model living in line with personal core values. ACT is especially helpful to those who experience chronic stress and emotional pain.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness therapy is designed to prevent major depression, and helps break cycles of negative rumination. This works by combining traditional CBT with mindfulness practices
