You more than likely appreciate a flexible and open approach to therapy along with a therapist who values a collaborative approach with their clients. You are likely looking for a therapist who can help alleviate your symptoms of personal distress and suffering. "I've got you." I am a California-based licensed psychotherapist. I obtained my Associate of Arts Degree from Fullerton College, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and a Masters's Degree in Psychology-Counseling from Chapman University. I specialize in Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Stress Management, Grief-Loss (including our fur babies) as well as Care-Taker burn-out. I have experience working in a variety of work settings including Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities, Outpatient Mental Health Clinics, Residential Treatment Facilities, and of course Private Practice. I have many years of experience in the field of behavioral health. There is a way forward, I hope you will let me help you get there.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Meaningfulness. Our first session is an opportunity for you to ask questions about me and the therapeutic process. The first session is also an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns or fears you may have about participating in therapy. This is an opportunity for me as well; this is an opportunity for me to get to know you along with some of the challenges you are facing. It's an opportunity for me to instill hope along with encouraging you to allow me to take this journey with you. Hopefully you will feel "heard" and understood. My hope is that you will walk away from this experience feeling optimistic about your life and the future.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Mindfulness, Compassion and Authenticity. Each of my clients can expect to receive empathy, respect, realism along with the skills/tools they will need to move forward and improve their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to service the adult population. Specifically, I provide services to those individual who are struggling with a mood disorder, life stressors and/or work life balance. I also provide therapy services for those who are wanting to understand just how their early lives experiences, including childhood experiences, have effected how they function in their lives today as an adult, including any dysfunctions and relational problems. I'm hoping to work with clients who are motivated not only to learn about themselves, but also, learn the skills and tools they need to live happy and productive lives.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I believe in approaching therapy from a "Holistic" approach. Mind, Body and Spirit. I believe in the power of our thoughts on emotions and behaviors. Thus, evaluating the content of our thoughts and perceptions is crucial in managing life's struggles and challenges. I also believe in the mind/body connection, meaning, I emphasize the importance of diet and exercise when it comes to our mental health. I respect each clients' definition and perspective on their use of spirituality, in their lives, and as part of the healing process.
