I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Delaware and Pennsylvania, specializing in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and attachment-related challenges. With a warm and compassionate approach, I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients are recognized as the experts of their own experience. I am dedicated to listening deeply and partnering with you on your journey toward healing and growth, guiding you to discover the strategies and insights that best support your well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my primary focus is to listen and understand what you are seeking from therapy and what you hope to achieve. This initial meeting provides a safe space for you to share your experiences, challenges, and reasons for pursuing therapy. I want to learn about your goals, what you are hopeful for, and any questions you may have about the process or working with me. Our conversation will help ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in the therapeutic relationship, and that we both feel it is a good fit to move forward together. We will explore the challenges that brought you here, as well as what has and hasn’t worked for you in the past. By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of the next steps in your journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have extensive experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, crisis, and complex family dynamics. I am skilled at guiding individuals through significant life transitions, including work, school, and personal changes. I approach therapy with kindness, genuine empathy, and strong listening skills, creating a compassionate and nonjudgmental space. I am naturally curious, which allows me to understand each client’s unique experiences deeply. Above all, I prioritize building trust and rapport, knowing that safety and connection are essential foundations for effective therapeutic work.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with individuals who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. Many of the people I support are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, identity, self-worth, or uncertainty about who they are and what they want. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. It is okay if you are unsure, afraid, hesitant, or do not fully know what you need yet — sometimes knowing that you want support is enough to begin. I enjoy working with individuals who are curious and open to exploring themselves, their experiences, and what they want for their lives and relationships. Together, we create a collaborative therapeutic partnership where we can explore patterns, build insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable and supportive. My goal is to provide a space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered as we work together to better understand where you are now and where you would like to go.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I utilize an Attachment-based treatment approach to explore and understand clients' familial and interpersonal relationships. This method helps clients identify their attachment styles, recognize how these patterns were formed, and understand their impact on self esteem/self worth, current relationships, and behaviors. Over the past five years I have been using this approach, which deepens insight into the attachment dynamics between clients, and significant others. By gaining this understanding, clients are better equipped to address relational challenges and develop strategies that promote healthier, more secure connections with others and self.

Narrative

I employ Narrative Therapy to support individuals with managing anxiety, depression, and feelings of being stuck. This approach empowers clients to explore and re-author the stories they tell about themselves, their thoughts, and their experiences. By identifying limiting or negative narratives, clients can separate themselves from unhelpful beliefs, gain new perspectives, and develop a more balanced and empowering understanding of their lives. This process supports emotional healing, encourages adaptive thinking, and promotes positive changes in thoughts and behavior, ultimately reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression and fostering a greater sense of agency and forward movement.

Psychodynamic

I incorporate a Psychodynamic approach to empower clients to gain deeper insight into their emotions, why they may feel stuck, and their internal strengths. This approach encourages exploration of unconscious patterns and unresolved conflicts that influence current behaviors and emotional responses. Rooted in a person-centered philosophy, the therapy recognizes the client as the expert of their own experience, fostering a safe and supportive environment for self-discovery. Through this process, clients can develop greater self-awareness, understand the origins of their difficulties, and work toward healthier coping strategies and emotional well-being.
