Licensed to practice in Maryland and accepts 39 insurances. Specializes in Anxiety, Grief, Life Transitions and 2 more.
Greetings. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Maryland. I have 15 years experience in trauma-informed care and have experience in many mental health challenges. I believe in holistic approaches to treatment. My goal as a provider is to assist others in developing tools to suit their uniqueness. Our unique lived experience shapes us but we do not have to be defined by it.
During our first sessions I would like to get to know you, your environment, your relationships and the challenges you feel you are experiencing.
My greatest strengths as a provider is seeing each individual person as an individual with unique strengths and challenges.
I have focused my training on building a toolkit to treat the whole person and believe in sharing these tools to assist others in creating their strongest self.

Trauma Informed Care
Trauma-informed care is the center of my practice. I have extensive trauma training and find tools used to calm systems can be very effective in most areas of challenge.
Attachment-based
Much of our daily challenges with relationships often stem from our attachment styles. Discovering how we use these early learned behaviors can often assist us in learning to build healthy adult relationships.
Grief Therapy
My experience working with bereavement for hospice provided me with many tools to share with grieving clients.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Including mindfulness in every day is essential to our busy lives. Mindfulness enhances the development of tools to equip us to meet many challenges.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Building tools for interpersonal communication with ourselves to build successful patterns of behavior can effectively help us change patterns of mental and emotional behavior keeping us stuck in problem states.

She is fantastic! She is a compassionate and genuinely kind human. I find her so easy to talk with and our sessions have included a lot of, much needed, laughter. She listens and then provides me with real life tools and phrases that I am using to navigate a very difficult time in my life.

She is patient and authentic. She does not hold back but is never judgemental. She allows me to see both sides of a situation so I can make the best decision without being irrational. I feel like I've made a lot of progress in a short time.
