I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained. Many of the people I support are navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related overwhelm, identity concerns, or relationship stress. My approach is supportive, practical, and collaborative. I focus on helping you gain clarity, better understand your emotional patterns, and build coping skills you can use in your everyday life. Therapy with me is not about rushing change or having all the answers right away. Sessions are paced to meet you where you are and are focused on steady, meaningful progress over time. My goal is to create a calm and supportive space where you can feel understood while working toward changes that feel realistic and sustainable.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you and what led you to seek therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your concerns, and we’ll talk about what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once. This first meeting is about building comfort, seeing if we’re a good fit, and beginning to identify next steps at a pace that feels right for you.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a calm, steady environment where clients feel supported and heard. I help people make sense of patterns that feel confusing or overwhelming and work collaboratively to develop practical coping strategies. I focus on self-understanding and gradual progress, rather than expecting change to happen all at once.
I work best with adults who want a supportive space to better understand themselves and feel more grounded in their daily lives. Many of my clients are dealing with anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related overwhelm, relationship stress, or identity concerns. They are often seeking clarity, emotional steadiness, and practical tools to help them move forward with greater confidence.

Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach that meets clients where they are, helps them feel safe in their bodies, and supports them in understanding how their history affects their present. I focus on regulation, insight, and restoring a sense of control.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early relationships shape their current patterns, needs, and emotional responses. I focus on building safety, trust, and healthier ways of connecting with others and themselves.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients accept their internal experiences and move toward choices that reflect their values. We work on mindfulness skills and building a life that feels purposeful.
EMDR
I am trained in EMDR and use it when clients are ready and the timing is appropriate. My focus is on building safety, developing resources, and helping clients process experiences at a pace that feels manageable. I integrate EMDR in a gradual way, starting with resource-building and nervous system stabilization. I use it as one of several tools to help clients work through trauma safely and at their own pace.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based techniques to help clients slow down, notice their emotions, and reconnect with their bodies. We focus on grounding, breathing, and building awareness that supports emotional regulation.

I just finished my 1st session with Stacy & after really searching for another therapist before settling on her, I feel I can honestly say that I feel great about her. She seems so genuine & open to what you as the client, need & she is ready to help. She is really knowledgeable in the areas that I needed most & her warm and welcoming way about her really put me at ease. I look forward to therapy because I feel heard & like we can accomplish more with these frequent visit's vs other providers.
