Many of the people I work with are used to being the one others rely on—capable, thoughtful, and steady—yet still feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move through what they’re facing. I take a collaborative, grounded approach that focuses on helping you make sense of your inner experience while also supporting meaningful shifts in your daily life. Together, we’ll sort through what’s been coming up for you, build a clearer understanding of your patterns, and identify ways to move forward that feel more steady and aligned.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a space for you to talk through what’s been going on and what you’d like to feel different. We’ll begin outlining what matters most to you, exploring key themes, and getting a sense of how we can work together in a way that feels useful and supportive. Most clients leave with a greater sense of clarity, a bit more ease, and a clearer direction for next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I focus on creating an environment where you can speak openly about what’s really going on, without feeling the need to filter yourself. Alongside that, I offer thoughtful challenge to help you recognize and shift patterns that may no longer be serving you. My style is intuitive and responsive. I listen for both what’s being said and what may be harder to name, helping you understand your emotional and relational patterns in a way that feels practical and relevant to your life outside of sessions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with individuals who tend to take on a lot—whether in their thoughts, emotions, or relationships—and are beginning to question how that’s impacting them. You might notice yourself overthinking, overextending, or struggling to express your needs clearly. You may also be working through grief, past experiences that still carry weight, or a transition that’s bringing things into sharper focus. This work is a good fit if you’re open to looking more closely at yourself and are interested in making changes that feel intentional and sustainable.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My work is grounded in a person-centered approach, meaning our sessions are shaped by you—your experiences, your pace, and what feels most important to focus on. I provide a space where you can speak openly without judgment, making it easier to explore your thoughts, emotions, and internal patterns. Over time, this process helps you feel more connected to yourself and more confident in how you approach relationships and life decisions.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT focuses on changing how you relate to your thoughts and emotions, so they have less influence over your choices. Rather than trying to get rid of difficult feelings, we work on building the ability to move forward in a way that reflects what matters most to you. This approach supports greater steadiness, flexibility, and intention in how you respond to challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps bring awareness to patterns in thinking and behavior that contribute to stress, anxiety, or emotional reactivity. From there, we focus on shifting those patterns in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. You’ll develop practical strategies to navigate difficult thoughts and emotions, leading to noticeable changes in your daily life.

Nikki is an exceptional therapist. She lets sessions unfold naturally, offering thoughtful insights when appropriate while providing ample space to talk through your thoughts. She blends personal anecdotes, research, and insights from other psychologists to deepen understanding. Through our work together, I've not only gained clarity about my own behavior but also a better grasp of how different personality types interact.
