I am a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community with multicultural and multiethnic roots. I enjoy working with adult men who are exploring their gender, sexuality, and relationships; members of the LGBTQ+ and BDSM/kink communities; and sexual trauma survivors and thrivers. I aim to help clients in accepting and loving the parts of themselves that they have disowned or hidden throughout their lifespan due to negative influences from their families of origin, peers, and society.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We will use the first session to assess your current circumstances. While my areas of expertise may be consistent with your reasons for coming to therapy, we will collaborate to address specific areas that are unique to you, and your current circumstances. From there, we will be able to better determine what type of therapy is right for you, what it will entail, and what it will look like for you in terms of fitting it into your day-to-day life.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I use a trauma-informed, sex-positive, and humanistic approach to address each client’s unique needs. I strive to ensure that my clients always have therapeutic safety in our relationship. I develop and strengthen this safety over time using a person-centered approach that focuses on providing my clients with empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity in all of our interactions.

I work with a range of clients that present a variety of unique circumstances. However, there is a common thread, they are not reaching their full potential. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to engage in self-exploration and self-inquiry who want to live their best lives.

EMDR
I am well-versed and comprehensively trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and have been helping clients heal trauma and move towards post-traumatic growth for nearly six years using this highly-effective approach.
