New to Grow
Hello, Thank you for being brave and taking the first step to feeling better. As a licensed clinical social worker, my approach is client centered with a compassionate, supportive space where clients can process what they are experiencing while developing practical tools for emotional balance. I integrate insight-oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to clients. Not feeling like yourself lately? Many women have many roles, mother, daughter, coworker, friend, caretaker and find themselves navigating profound transitions such as: menopause, changing family roles, caregiving responsibilities, grief, relationship shifts, divorce, or questions about identity and purpose. While these experiences are common, they can also feel isolating, overwhelming, or emotionally exhausting. You do not have to navigate this stage of life alone. Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step. I welcome the opportunity to be alongside you as you navigate the challenges and possibilities of midlife and beyond.
In our first session, we will begin to get to know each other. You can inform me of some of the challenges and issues you are dealing with. We will begin to build a solid rapport. Research states that the client/clinician relationship is the most important in the therapeutic process. We can work together at your pace.
My approach is client centered with a compassionate, supportive space where clients can process what they are experiencing while developing practical tools for emotional balance. I integrate insight-oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to clients. As we get to know each other, I will listen and hold space and at times ask you questions about your experiences. I may offer another perspective about how I may see the situation. While giving another perspective, I may teach you some CBT strategies or how to practice mindfulness.
You’ve spent years taking care of everyone else. You’ve been the caregiver, the partner, the mother, the professional, and the person everyone depends on. While you've supported those around you, your own needs may have been put on hold. Now, life is asking something different of you. Midlife can bring unexpected challenges. Hormonal changes, menopause, divorce, changing relationships, an empty nest, career shifts, aging parents, or simply wondering, "Who am I now?" can leave you feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or unlike yourself. You may find yourself questioning your confidence, your purpose, or what the next chapter of your life should look like. The good news is that this stage of life doesn't have to be about loss—it can be about rediscovery. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help women navigate life's transitions with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can finally focus on yourself. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, develop healthy coping strategies, build resilience, and help you reconnect with the woman you want to become. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique experiences. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, and other evidence-based techniques, I'll help you manage anxiety, improve self-esteem, establish healthy boundaries, process grief and loss, strengthen relationships, and move through life's changes with greater confidence. You don't have to keep carrying everything alone. I would be honored to walk beside you as you rediscover your strength, embrace this new chapter, and create the life you deserve.

Our minds can perceive the world around us in a negative way. We can work through those negative thoughts and give a new perspective and how to think in a more positive way.
We can discuss ways to be more present and in the moment. We will review breathing and grounding techniques.
We will navigate together how the environment we grew up in, childhood experiences and thought patterns have shaped us.
