First session

Our first session will focus on identifying goals, creating a comfortable therapeutic relationship and making sure that we are the best fit for your therapy needs.

Strengths

I have several years of experience working with trauma, substance use disorders, psychotic disorders and mood disorders, either individually or while comorbid with other disorders/illnesses. I also help people manage stress, burnout, time-management and relationship issues. I have worked at clinic, psychiatric facility, residential and outpatient treatment agency settings. I have worked with many ethnicities, cultures, and members of the LGBTQ+ community - this is a safe and inclusive space.

It takes a lot for me to get comfortable with people in general - to a point where I needed therapy for it - and when you look for so long because you're not ready but find someone that fits right away when you are ready it feels like a blessing. That she is empowering doesn't come close enough for me but is the best identifier given.
