Hi! My name is Katrice Hollins and I am excited to support you in your journey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia and the District of Columbia who has been in the helping profession for 20 years. I have worked in a variety of fields including social services, inpatient mental health, foster care, special education, and school mental health. I am passionate about helping people to reach their goals and develop life-long wellness. As a therapist, it is not my role or desire to give you advice or make decisions for you. What I offer is a place for you to feel valued for who you are, exactly as you are. I will ask questions and help you process the answers. I will reflect on your values and feelings that allow you to make the best choices for your life. *Please feel free to message for additional appointment availability.
In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. We'll take some time to discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns, and talk about your goals. I’ll also share a bit about my approach and answer any questions you may have. This session is about getting to know each other and ensuring you feel safe and supported as we begin this journey together. There’s no pressure—just an open and judgment-free conversation at your pace.
My focus is on using a variety of methods and tools to support the client in working through the challenges presented in therapy. I enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-based methods, and focusing on solutions. In our time together, it's not about me giving you answers or advice and more about empowering you to take control of your life and make the best decisions for you.
My counseling style is pretty laid-back and focused on solutions. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. You have taken the first and most important step by reaching out for support.
I enjoy serving individuals who are BIPOC of any age, and Christian counseling. I enjoy partnering with those who are ready to make a change and willing to do the hard work but just need a little support.

I had an initial consultation with Dr. Katrice. And even though her camera was broken, I could feel her warmth and concern as she made me comfortable talking about some difficult situations in my life. That is a rare skill to get somebody to kind of feel like they can open up to someone they don't know . so even though it's only been one time I highly recommend her and I'm looking forward to continued conversation conversations with her.
