I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in New York State with two decades of experience in behavioral health. My work has taught me that anxiety and life stress can interfere with many aspects of our lives, and these experiences are unique to everyone. I am also a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Clinician, trained in working with those who have experienced emotional, psychological, and physical abuse by narcissistic and antagonistic individuals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be focused on two different areas - first, us getting to know each other a bit better; second, goal setting - what do you wish to get out of our time together? Sometimes this is clear and can be addressed immediately and sometimes it takes a little longer but we will start working on this from our first hour together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (related to why we think, feel, and behave the way we do), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (focuses on living in alignment with personal values and increasing psychological flexibility to achieve life goals) and strengths-based work. I feel strongly that the client sets the goals and the therapist provides the tools to help achieve the goals while providing a safe environment to explore and express thoughts and feelings.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is an individual, over the age of 13, who is experiencing anxiety and or distress due to current life circumstances or an individual wishing to work through narcissistic or antagonistic abuse; clients might be feeling stuck, anxious, uncertain how to proceed, or struggling with assertiveness skills. An ideal client will be willing to actively engage in the therapeutic process and apply learned skills and strategies between sessions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is effective in challenging our automatic negative thoughts and cognitive distortions.
