I’m a trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapist who works with adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and substance use. I specialize in supporting individuals during life transitions, including community reintegration and recovery. My goal is to create a safe, structured space where you feel heard, empowered, and supported as you work toward meaningful change. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, explore new strategies, and move toward the life you envision.
In our first session, we’ll take time to explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and goals, while creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and judgment-free. We’ll begin identifying strengths, support systems, and areas for growth, and I’ll introduce therapeutic approaches—like CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy—that can guide our work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out; we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
My greatest strengths lie in creating a structured yet compassionate space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy with motivational interviewing to foster insight, resilience, and forward movement. I’m skilled at helping clients reframe challenges, build practical coping strategies, and stay grounded in their strengths—even during times of transition or uncertainty. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and rooted in the belief that meaningful change is always possible.
My ideal clients are adults who are committed to personal growth, even when the path forward feels uncertain or overwhelming. I work best with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are seeking structure, emotional stability, and support in rebuilding trust with themselves and others. Whether you're working toward recovery, independence, or clarity in your next steps, I offer a collaborative and strengths-based approach to help you move forward with purpose and resilience.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, build healthier coping strategies, and improve emotional regulation. This structured, collaborative approach supports meaningful change and personal growth across a range of concerns.
Solution-Focused Therapy integrated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)I use the blended approach to emphasizes the clients’ strengths, resilience, and capacity for change while providing structured tools to address unhelpful thought patterns. Solution-Focused Therapy helps clients identify what’s working, set clear goals, and build on existing successes. CBT complements this by exploring how thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, and by teaching practical strategies to challenge cognitive distortions. Together, these methods foster insight, emotional regulation, and forward movement—empowering clients to create meaningful change in their lives.

She was great. Gave me things to think about to challenge myself.
