First session

I start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.

Strengths

Because every person’s story and healing path are unique, I utilize an integrative approach that blends several powerful, evidence-based modalities tailored specifically to your needs: • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We will work together to identify and reframe negative thought patterns, equipping you with practical, action-oriented tools for day-to-day relief. • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): For those carrying heavy or painful memories, EMDR allows us to rapidly reprocess trauma and reduce its emotional charge without forcing you to talk through every painful detail. • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Mindfulness: I incorporate these grounding practices to help you build self-compassion, navigate difficult emotions with flexibility, and align your daily life with your core values. • Psychodynamic Therapy: By exploring deep-rooted behavioral patterns and early attachments, we can uncover the underlying causes of current struggles to foster long-term personal growth. As your therapist, my goal is to provide a collaborative environment where you can unpack your challenges, discover your inner strength, and reclaim your narrative. It is an absolute privilege to witness the courage of my clients every day, and I look forward to supporting you as you navigate your unique path toward growth and well-being.
